in collaboration with eugeni quitllet, presents ‘masters stool’ for kartell at the 2012 salone del mobile. a redevelopment of the 2009 ‘masters chair‘, the stool version includes a smaller seat and longer legs, elevating it from the original height of 84 cm (33 inches) to 108 cm (42.5 inches). the graphic signature of the original furniture piece is kept the same in the stool version, combining the silhouette of the ‘series 7’ by arne jacobsen, the ‘tulip armchair’ by eero saarinen and the ‘eiffel chair’ by charles eames. since its form is poured from modified polypropylene, both the chair and the stool can be used either indoors or outdoors.
